Introduction of Glass Reactor

  •   A reaction vessel, or glass reactor , is a container used for physical or chemical reactions in experiments such as material synthesis, distillation, and concentration. It has functions such as heating, evaporation, cooling, and high-speed stirring.

  •   Based on the material of the reactor, there are two types of reactors: glass reactors and stainless steel reactors.

Based on the structure of the reactor, there are single-layer glass reactors, double-layer glass reactors, and triple-layer glass reactors. The type of reactor used depends on the external reaction conditions of the raw material mixture.

  •   Single-layer glass reactors are operated under vacuum conditions and heated using an oil bath or water bath. In double-layer glass reactors, the reaction materials are placed in the inner layer, and a heat-conducting or cooling medium is passed through the jacket in a vacuum environment. The temperature of the jacket can reach up to 300℃, and the temperature of the cooling medium can be controlled to a minimum of -80℃. Triple-layer glass reactors have the same conditions as double-layer reactors, with an additional outer layer that is vacuum-sealed to act as an insulation layer.
